Employees
Plot employee saved-search results on the map to see team coverage next to accounts and routes.
The Employees panel runs an employee saved search and plots matching employee records on the map. Use it to see where teammates sit relative to accounts, regions, or routes you are planning.
Employee map access is gated by your organization (license / admin preferences) and by panel visibility under User Interface Options. If the panel is missing, confirm both with your admin.
Typical workflow
- Open Employees in the sidebar.
- Choose an Employee Saved Search (NetSuite saved searches configured for employees).
- Optionally turn on Include public searches when your organization shares public employee searches.
- Click Search to load pins on the map (results respect the current map viewport when available).
- Inspect pins next to customers, regions, or a Directions route.
What you need in NetSuite
- Employee records that appear in the saved search you select
- Geocoded locations on those employees (or addresses QSmap can geocode) so pins appear on the map
- Permission to run the saved search
Exact search definitions are maintained by your NetSuite admin; QSmap lists the employee saved searches available to you.
Tips
- Combine employee pins with Saved Regions or Segments when reviewing territory coverage.
- Employee pins use the same marker detail and map interactions as other entity types when the record supports them.
- For visit scheduling against accounts (not employee pins), use Agenda.
