Fix the Map
Review and correct low-trust geocode pins with a queue, quality map mode, and drag or result picker.
Fix the Map is QSmap’s geocode quality workflow. It lists pins that need attention, can filter the map to only those pins, and lets you correct locations by dragging a marker or choosing among geocode results. After a successful correction, QSmap marks the location trusted so it leaves the queue.
What appears in the queue
A pin is listed when it is not already overridden and matches any of:

| Bad-address placeholder | Coordinates use the known invalid sentinel (shown as an unusable location) |

The queue only includes entities that already have a match-quality record in NetSuite. Records that were never geocoded through QSmap’s match-quality path may not appear until they are geocoded or backfilled by your administrator.
Open the queue
- Open the sidebar and choose Fix the Map.
- Review the list (name, accuracy hint, multi-match indicators).
- Click a row to select the pin, open marker detail, and pan the map (when coordinates are usable).
Use the refresh control on the panel to reload the queue after corrections.
Quality work mode
Turn on Quality work mode from:
- The Fix the Map panel, or
- The Search Accuracy popup (same accuracy control you use for Country–Building range)
When quality mode is on, the map shows only trust-queue pins from your current marker set. Turn it off to return to normal accuracy-range filtering.
Correct a location
Drag the pin
- Select the account and open Geo Actions on the marker detail panel.
- Click Enable Marker Drag.
- Drag the pin on the map to the correct place and release.
- QSmap saves the coordinates, marks the location trusted, and refreshes the queue.
Click Disable Marker Drag when you are finished adjusting.
Pick among geocode results
If the pin has multiple matches:
- In Geo Actions, open the multiple-results / pick-best-match action.
- Review candidates in the geocode results picker (the result currently on the map is identified).
- Confirm the correct result to save and mark trusted.
Admin match-quality chart
Administrators can open the Admin area and view a match quality levels chart (distribution by accuracy bucket), alongside geocoded-count reporting. Use it to see how much of your data sits at Country–Building before and after cleanup campaigns.
Tips
- Zoom in if the selected pin is still clustered or not yet drawn—drag needs the pin visible on the map.
- After a save, the pin should drop out of Fix the Map once the queue refreshes.
- Combine quality mode with a focused search so you work a territory or segment at a time.
