Agenda
View your NetSuite calendar on the map, plan a day from pins, fill free gaps, and edit events in QSmap.
The Agenda panel shows your NetSuite calendar events (meetings you organize) and connects them to map work: pan to a visit, add it to Directions, plan a full day from map pins, or fill free time between meetings.
If Agenda is missing from the sidebar, enable it under User Interface Options. Plan my day, Open calendar on map, and Fill the Hour suggestions also require the Fill the Hour planner entitlement on your subscription—ask your admin if you expected those controls and do not see them.
Agenda list (sidebar)
Open Agenda to see upcoming events grouped by day.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Show on map | Pans the map and places (or selects) a pin for the event’s company when lat/lng is available |
| Add to route | Appends that stop to Directions |
| Open day | Opens the map calendar focused on that day and time |
| Edit / Delete | Updates or removes the NetSuite calendar event (you must be the organizer) |
| Refresh | Reloads events from NetSuite |
Events without a geocoded company location keep Show on map and Add to route disabled. Geocode the company in NetSuite or QSmap first.
Calendar on the map
Use Open calendar on map for a day / week / agenda scheduler docked over the map. The map stays usable above the calendar panel; drag the top handle to resize height.
Editing events (day and week views)
When the planner is licensed, you can manage events like a normal calendar:
- Drag an appointment to reschedule it (saved to NetSuite)
- Drag edges to change duration
- Double-click an event to open the edit form
- Double-click an empty time cell to create a new event
- Use the appointment tooltip for Show on map, Add to route, Edit, and Delete
You can only edit or delete events you organize. Changes write to the NetSuite calendar record; refresh Agenda if another tab or user updated the same day.
Plan my day
Plan my day builds an ordered visit schedule from markers currently on the map (run a search first).
- Open Agenda → Plan my day (or use the same control on the map calendar).
- Choose date, start time, and visit length (dwell).
- Generate a preview (up to 10 stops).
- Create calendar events in NetSuite, and optionally:
- Load the preview into Directions
- Download an ICS file
- Open the stops in Google Maps or Apple Maps
Use this when the calendar is empty or you want a full day built from territory pins rather than filling one gap at a time.
Fill the Hour (free blocks)
With two or more meetings on the same day, day view shows blue Free · Xm blocks between appointments.
- Click a Free block, or drag across empty time on the calendar.
- QSmap scores nearby map markers that can fit drive time plus your stop duration.
- For a suggestion:
- Add to calendar — creates a NetSuite event in that free window
- Add to route — sends the stop to Directions
- Pan on map — focuses the candidate pin
Suggestions need loaded map markers and enough free minutes for drive + dwell. An empty calendar will not produce free blocks—use Plan my day instead.
Tips
- Keep the map calendar open while reviewing suggestions so you can pan and confirm locations.
- Directions has a stop limit (Google waypoint cap); you will see a toast if the route is full.
- Pair Agenda with Directions after planning, then calculate the route before sharing.
