Custom Fields
Configure which NetSuite custom fields appear in QSmap searches and related UI.
Use the Custom Fields area in Options to choose which NetSuite fields QSmap exposes.
What you can add
- Fields that can drive Main Search filters (typically select and checkbox types)—also managed via User Interface Options
- Fields used elsewhere in QSmap (detail context, exports, or Marker Styles rules, depending on configuration)
Workflow
- Open Options → Custom Fields (wording may vary slightly by version).
- Select fields from your account’s available NetSuite fields.
- Save, then confirm they appear on Main Search or in rule builders as expected.
Tips
- Prefer well-maintained list fields—empty or unused lists clutter the UI.
- Marker style rules can key off custom fields when your role can edit styles.
- Export column groups may include custom fields depending on how exports are configured.
