Default Search
Save your usual Main Search filters and run them quickly when QSmap opens.
Default Search lets you save a Main Search configuration and reuse it quickly—including when QSmap loads, if you choose that behavior.
Typical workflow
- Open Main Search and set the filters you usually need (entity types, sales rep, category, ZIP, products, clustering, and so on).
- Run the search and confirm the map looks right.
- Save those options as your default search (from Main Search / Options, depending on your build).
- Use the default-search control on the toolbar or rely on auto-run at startup if enabled in preferences.
Tips
- Defaults are per user. Changing yours does not change teammates’ defaults.
- If results look wrong after an upgrade, clear filters and re-save the default.
- Combine with Header Lookup for one-off finds without changing your default.
